1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Snuglet Care website (snuglet.in), mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.

2. Our Services

Snuglet Care provides an on-demand childcare platform that connects families in Bengaluru with trained, verified caregivers for sessions of 3, 6, or 9 hours. Our services include:

• Booking and scheduling of caregivers through the Platform
• Caregiver matching based on availability, location, and child's age
• Customer support via WhatsApp and other channels
• Access to caregiver profiles and booking history

We currently operate in Bengaluru. Availability may vary by area and time.

3. Eligibility

To use Snuglet Care, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide a valid Indian mobile phone number
• Provide accurate information about your child's age and care requirements
• Reside in a location we currently serve

By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Bookings & Cancellations

Making a booking

Bookings are confirmed once you receive an in-app or WhatsApp confirmation from us. A confirmed booking means a caregiver has been assigned to your session.

Cancellations by you

• More than 2 hours before the session: Full refund or credit to your account.
• Less than 2 hours before the session: A cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session cost may apply.
• No-show or cancellation after caregiver arrival: Full session amount is charged.

Cancellations by Snuglet Care

In rare cases - due to caregiver unavailability, safety concerns, or force majeure - we may need to cancel a booking. We will notify you promptly and offer either a full refund or priority rebooking at no additional charge.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule a booking at no charge if done more than 2 hours before the session start time, subject to caregiver availability.

5. Payments & Refunds

Session fees are displayed clearly at the time of booking. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable taxes.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking confirmation. We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, and other methods displayed on the Platform. We do not store your full card details.

Refunds

Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. For any refund queries, contact us at support@snuglet.in or WhatsApp us at 8073 586 101.

6. Your Responsibilities

When using Snuglet Care, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your child and care requirements
• Ensure the home environment is safe for the caregiver and child
• Treat our caregivers with respect and dignity at all times
• Not request services outside the scope of a booked session
• Not attempt to hire our caregivers directly outside the Platform
• Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

7. Our Caregivers

All Snuglet caregivers are employees of Snuglet Care. They undergo a rigorous selection process including:

• Behavioural assessment and childcare skills evaluation
• Government-issued ID verification
• Criminal background checks
• 48 hours of professional childcare training

While we take every reasonable step to ensure the quality and safety of our caregivers, Snuglet Care does not guarantee any specific outcome. Parents remain responsible for the safety and wellbeing of their children at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Snuglet Care's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific session giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or loss of profits.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform - including the Snuglet Care name, logo, text, graphics, and software - is owned by or licensed to Snuglet Care. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you breach these terms, engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, caregivers, or our business, or if required by law.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination - including payments, liability, and governing law - will continue to apply.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
